First printed in April 2021, this one is an ode to finding joy and companionship in nature. “Good morning” whispered to a squirrel in the garden, respectful greeting to the crows as they fly overhead, a gasp of admiration for the skillful carpentry of a local beaver… Though I can’t guarantee that the friendships are reciprocal, the world feels a little kinder when you choose to be friends with all the beings you meet. ⁠
